Letter from the Editor...
Letter from Terry Farmer, Editor in Chief
I have known Rev. D.C. Bray and his wife for more than fifteen years and we have had many discussions about our personal beliefs and our relationship with Jesus Christ. I felt privileged when he asked me to edit his book. I read his first private edition and was confident that the Lord had given him new insight and revelation concerning the events to take place in America’s future. The confirmation I received in my spirit was largely due to a twelve-year period of intercessory prayer the Lord has put on my heart for our nation and the entire body of Christ.
If you complete this book, I know that through Rev. Bray’s writings the Holy Spirit will shake many of your doctrinal foundations. I have faith that those doctrines that are based in truth will remain and those that are based on man’s assumption or presumption will fall away. I have spent the last ten months reading and studying this book and verifying the scriptural backbone on which it is based. At times, I found it overwhelming but it was worth the effort.
I have served as a teacher and minister for more than twelve years. I firmly believe in one body and one Spirit; and like many other folks, the divisions within the body of the Christ have confused and distressed me. Throughout scripture our Lord and his disciples have talked about one church with Christ as her head but I have yet to see her manifest in our world today. While studying church history in Bible College, I began to recognize the divisions of the church as they came into the body of Christ by the hands of men and design of our enemy. Rev. Bray will identify the influence this has had on our interpretation of the scriptures. He will also show the connection these misinterpretations have had on the creation of numerous false doctrines. Many of these doctrines have been accepted by the body of Christ, resulting in divisions within a church that was meant to be unified in spirit and in love.
This book will help many discern God’s plan for their future. We do have a hope and a future in Christ Jesus and through the study of Christ’s book of revelation we can have a better understanding of his mastery in our lives and in the lives of those that have believed in him throughout the ages.
I challenge you to leave your prejudice behind, to take a step in faith, and read this book with an open mind and a contrite heart, praying always for God’s wisdom and insight to understand the gold in these pages.
